  • Can I snorkel in front of the villas?

    Yes! Some of the best snorkelling on the island can be found right in front of Sea Change as there are some lovely coral heads in the lagoon where the tropical fish like to hide.

  • How far away from the local shop are the villas?

    Wigmores store is a 5 minute drive (or a 7 minute bike ride) from Sea Change and has a fresh good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, meat/poultry, pantry items as well as non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.

  • Is there a restaurant onsite?

    We do not have a restaurant onsite however we do offer a complimentary breakfast pack in the fridge on arrival and offer a variety of in-villa dining options which can be booked. Guests may wish to go to Wigmores store to pick up some groceries/snacks for the villa (all villas have kitchens and there is a BBQ area) or decide that they prefer to dine out at one of the many local eateries on the island. There are dozens of cafes/restaurants within a 4 – 10 minute drive of the property offering all types of excellent cuisine.

  • Does every villa have its own pool?

    Yes each of our villas has its own private pool and courtyard.

  • Do you accommodate children?

    We love children but do have a minimum age requirement in our Beachfront and Lagoon View Villa categories of 16 years and 12 years in our 2 & 3 bedroom Lagoon View Executive Villas.

  • What are the requirements for renting a car or scooter?

    If renting/driving a car whilst in the Cook Islands you will require a valid, unrestricted driving license from home. It is no longer necessary to obtain a Cook Islands driver’s license from the police station. All visitors driving/riding on a scooter/motor bike are required to wear a helmet. If visitors wish to drive a scooter and don’t have a valid motor bike license from his/her home country, a written test and road test must be undertaken at police head quarters in Avarua before renting a scooter.

  • Is it necessary to pre-book a car hire?

    At many times of the year the island is very busy and car hire is at a premium. If you wait until after arrival to book a car you may be disappointed and have to wait several days until a car becomes available. We recommend pre-booking your car at least a few weeks prior to arrival. We are happy to assist you with this.

  • Are there laundry facilities onsite?

    Each Lagoon View Executive Villa has in-villa laundry facilities. For our Beachfront and Lagoon View Villas we have three laundry areas for your complimentary use. Washing powder is provided.
